What is available in acne care?

There are many advanced acne treatments that were not imaginable in
previous years.  Today's procedures are safer and more effective, making

uses several treatments, including Palomar light therapy and
chemical peels.  We can also help reduce the appearance of acne scars.

How is acne treated at A Beautiful You?

An acne photofacial treatment consists of using pulses of visible light on the skin.  
A Beautiful You uses the Palomar Pulsed Light Therapy system to
achieve optimal results in reducing acne.  The skin is gently vacuumed to unclog
pores of oil, dirt and bacteria.  Next, light is pulsed into skin follicles to kill
acne-causing bacteria and accelerate healing.  Not only does light therapy
reduce current lesions by killing bacteria, it helps prevent future breakouts.
