Restylane®

What is Restylane®?

Restylane® is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel.  It is based upon hyaluronic acid, a natural substance.  Restylane® can produce fuller-looking lips, and "plump up" wrinkles.  The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a fine needle.  You'll see instant, long-lasting results.  Restylane® is gentle and safe for your skin.  Its benefits are also long-lasting; wrinkle treatments can have a duration of up to one year.  Lip volumizing treatments can last for up to six months.  Learn more about Restylane®.

How is Restylane® administered?

Anesthesia is typically not required for wrinkle treatments.  As lips are
a more sensitive area, you may receive a local anesthetic.  You will consult
with your doctor as to the areas you would like to have treated.  Tiny injections
will be made at those areas.  The entire procedure usually takes approximately
30 minutes.

Am I a candidate for Restylane®?

Although Restylane® is generally safe, there may be instances in which it
should not be administered.  If you have recently had laser treatments or
chemical peels, you should wait four to six weeks until the treated areas
