What are CosmoPlast™ and CosmoDerm™?

CosmoPlast™ and CosmoDerm™ are collagen replacement therapies
that smooth wrinkles.  These "filler" therapies can also help reduce acne
scars and restore lip borders.  Collagen fibers weave together, and act as
a framework for new skin cells.  The ingredients are effective in reducing
the appearance of crow's feet, frown lines and smile lines, the "parentheses"
lines around the nose and mouth.  CosmoDerm™ is usually administered 
for fine lines.  CosmoPlast™ is utilized to treat deeper wrinkles. 
CosmoPlast is the perfect filler to accentuate the lip border and transform
the look of your smile. Results are seen immediately, and last from four to
six months.  A typical treatment is approximately thirty minutes in length.

How are CosmoPlast™ and CosmoDerm™ administered?

Both are injected with fine needles below the surface of a wrinkle to fill it. 
Anesthesia is not usually required.  A typical treatment is thirty minutes in length,
and recovery is rapid.  There may be some swelling that will reduce quickly.

Am I a candidate for CosmoPlast™ and CosmoDerm™?

These therapies are generally well-tolerated.  However, you should consider
alternative procedures if you have a history of severe allergic reactions. 
People with scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile rheumatoid
arthritis may have a higher likelihood of an allergic response to collagen.
